The Business Finance Guide:

Investment and funding options explained for SMEs

Have an idea for a business but don't know where to start? Or do you already run a business that could use a financial push and advice from an veteran? Thanks to the release of the Business Finance Guide, finding out what options are available to business owners has just become a lot easier.

Spearheaded by the British Business Bank and the ICAEW, the guide offers support on investment, lending and growth for entrepreneurs in the UK. Partnered with over 20 different organisations from across the business and finance sectors, such as the Federation of Small Businesses and the British Chamber of Commerce, the online tool can offer up information about different financing options based on the age, revenue and intended growth of a company.

The Business Finance Guide has come at an important time as the uncertainty surrounding the British economy has made entrepreneurs look to newer less traditional ways of financing their business ventures. The guide features advice, ideas and videos to help explain different options like crowdfunding and equity vs debt.
